Half the British blog-o-sphere (it sickens me I used that non word) is talking about the leaders debate. The shock winner of the debate was Nick Clegg aka my former party leader. That’s right I used to support the Lib Dems, this is until he took over.

I’ve always been a bit wishy washy when it comes to politics so the Lib Dems were perfect. But, Nick Clegg irritates me, I trust him about as far as I could throw him, but from the debate, he seems like he was able to capitalise by not talking as much crap as the other 2 did. But it was nice seeing Cameron come last in most of the polls hopefully he’ll be less smug. But its doubtful eton bullingdon club boy will. Especially after the sky news poll put him in as second instead of third.
edit: Now it appears a yougov poll is saying the same thing? Shock horror!
The question is will this actually affect the way people vote? When we vote in a general election we vote for the local candidate NOT the party leader we aren’t voting for a president so I’m confused if this debate actually makes any sense.
